Forty-Five Years of Yes

Forty-Five Years of Yes
Forty-five years ago today, I said yes to the call of God on my life.
I had no idea where that yes would take us. There was no roadmap. No guarantees. Just a deep conviction that obedience mattered more than understanding.
Looking back now, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
God has been faithful through every season — the mountaintops and the valleys, the victories and the stretching moments. He has given me a life filled with purpose far beyond anything I could have planned for myself.
But more than the places we have gone or the things we have done, I am most thankful for the people. The lifelong friendships. The leaders raised up. The brothers and sisters we now call family around the world.
And of course, walking this journey alongside Janice has been God’s greatest gift in my life. Without her, I would be a ship without a sail.
Forty-five years later, my heart still says yes.
Yes to His voice.
Yes to His purpose.
Yes to wherever He leads next.
God is good — all the time.
